Wie is Barem?
We hebben Barem onlangs wat vragen voorgelegd. Zie hieronder het resultaat:
If you could bring anything home with you from Amsterdam, what would that be?
I think I would bring a bike. I really like bikes there.
And what do you miss the most when you’re not home in Berlin or Buenos Aires?
I really miss the Argentinean meat, my family and friends, but when I’m there I also miss other things from the rest of the world. I don’t miss a lot from Berlin, because I don’t spend enough time there. Maybe just how quiet and peaceful it is. But I learned with time how to be away from home and try to enjoy every moment on the road without missing too much. If you go somewhere to play and you wish you were at home, you won’t play well.
If you wouldn’t have become a dj/producer what do you think your life would have looked like now?
To be honest, I have no idea, but probably something related to music one way or another. But it’s very hard to say because I started being a DJ while I was still very young, and I didn’t really try a lot of other things before.
How many frequent flyer miles do you have and which airline has the best Flight attendants?
I have 200.000 with Lufthansa, which is the airline I fly the most, but I just spent like 100.000 this year, and some more the year before, so the total must be around in between 350.000 and 400.000. It’s not so easy to tell nowadays, since I also fly with a lot of other airlines and depending on what you pay, sometimes you almost don’t get any miles. Best flight attendants were in an airline called Air Comet from Spain. The owner also owned a big model agency. But now it went bankrupt so they probably changed the hot models for lawyers hehehe.
If you had an extra day to visit amsterdam which of the following things would you do and why: Visit the red light district, go to a coffeeshop, ride around the city on a bike, visit the Rijksmuseum or go to a zoo?
I’ve been around the red light district and the coffeeshop area many times, it’s usually the first thing that people show you in Amsterdam. But I also know many other parts of the city, ’cause I’ve been there many times for gigs and also as a tourist when I was younger. I never went to the zoo though, but I sort of don’t like zoo’s. I hate to see animals in cages. I would definitely pick the bike tour. I’ve done it a few times but it’s always very nice. Only during the summer of course!
