Natuurlijk is er niet zo iets als een tijd waarin er niets gebeurd.  Stiekem hebben we het heel druk gehad, met allerhande gezelligheden waarover we hier binnenkort meer uit de doeken zullen doen.  Maar laten we beginnen met hetgeen waar we het meest van houden, muziek. Ik heb namelijk een podcast opgenomen voor onze vrienden van RRP oftewel Rust Roest Producties.  Deze samenwerking komt niet zo maar uit de lucht vallen, want ik heb over de afgelopen paar jaar al vaker met hen mogen samenwerken. Voor wie Rust Rust niet kent, RRP is een organisatie van jonge artiesten en vrijdenkers die feesten geven waar ze, zoals ze zelf zeggen,“zelf ook heen zouden gaan”. Omdat ze veel belang hecht aan een zekere culturele lading in hun doen en laten, werkt RRP ook samen met kunstenaars uit disciplines die niet direct dansvloer gerelateerd zijn. Een goed voorbeeld hiervan is de samenwerking met ontwerptalent Thijs Bul.  Maar ook op muzikaal gebied zoekt RRP de vernieuwing; de release van RRP’s Camiel Daamen en Michiel Tettero (Everybody EP, PiekUp Records) die bijvoorbeeld is opgepikt door gerenommeerde internationale artiesten, zoals Loco Dice en Richie Hawtin.  Iedereen die liever persoonlijk kennis met hen wil maken kan voor het eind van de zomer nog een leuke avond van deze heren verwachten, op 21 augustus organiseren ze namelijk een avond in Boom Chicago. Al met al heb ik met plezier een podcast voor hen gemixt.  Dat het hoogzomer is betekent niet alleen dat de dagen langer zijn, ook het gras en de heggen zijn de laatste dagen naar onze mening de perken te buiten gegroeid.  Daarom hoop ik met mijn podcast een muzikale bijdrage te leveren aan het snoeiwerk dat nu toch zal moeten komen.  Het is tijd om te snoeien.. 4 Real, Radiosus.
